Butterfly valve double eccentric

Fabricated double eccentric butterfly valve for emergency, turbine protection and maintenance closing of pipes and penstocks in dams and reservoirs

Round port butterfly widely used for flow control in water intakes and outflow/discharge applications (turbine protection, etc.).

“Off-set” disc design and sealing through elastomer seals fixed to the disc for optimum tightness and allowing seal maintenance without disassembling the valve.

Rugged fabricated construction, available in a wide range of sizes and special materials to match specific requirements and depending on the head under which the valve will operate.

Available with hydraulic, electric or manual actuator, with possibility of extended actuator.

May be equipped with by-pass for pressure balancing and a counterweight for emergency shutoff.
